Problem

With many services, we needed routing, discovery, failure handling and a way to see what happens across a request.

Approach

  1. API Gateway and Eureka for routing and discovery.
  2. Feign clients with fallback handling.
  3. Zipkin and ELK for tracing, latency diagnosis and central logs.
  4. Spring Boot Admin for service health and uptime.
